General

If you have an enquiry or wish to provide us with feedback regarding your Bailey Fitness experience, just fill in the form on our contact page and send us a message, remembering to provide your phone number so we can get back to you promptly.

Southern River, Morley and Baldivis gyms are all open to members 5am-10pm everyday of the year.

Non-Members can only visit during Staffed Hours.

Staffed Reception hours are

Monday to Thursday 9 am to 6 pm

Friday 9am to 5pm

Saturday 8.30am-11.30am

Please note: Non-Members can only visit the club during staffed hours

Creche hours vary for all three gyms (check websites for details) and bookings are essential for all creche sessions.

Membership

Yes. Once you join Bailey Fitness, you have access to all three clubs. That means if you live in Morley, but happen to be in Southern River for the day, you can drop in any time and enjoy all the same privileges and facilities as you would normally have at your home gym (just remember to bring your card).

Gym memberships are normally limited to persons who are at least 14 years of age (unless a medical clearance is provided). However, Bailey Fitness offers group fitness classes for children as young as five and our Fit Kids program during the school holidays offers specialised fitness classes for kids aged 8 -16 years.

Just go to the Account Queries page on our website and fill in your details in the online form provided. Alternatively, you can drop by the reception at your Bailey Fitness club between 9 am and 6 pm weekdays and 8.30am and 11.30am Saturday mornings and we’ll be happy to update your details for you in person.

Yes, if you are going on an extended holiday or can’t attend your gym for reason of being medically incapacitated, you can place your membership on hold for a minimum of 4 weeks and a maximum of 14 weeks per the calendar year. Just go to the Request a Time Freeze page on our website and fill in the form provided at least 7 days prior to the start date of your freeze.

Gym

Yes, you can, however only during staffed hours, as they will need to see a staff member at reception and sign in on the guest register. Reception hours at Southern River, Morley and Baldivis gyms are 9 am to 6 pm weekdays and 8.30am to 11.30am on Saturday mornings.

Just see someone at reception and they’ll find an available Personal Trainer for you. Our PTs are all fully certified and highly experienced and they can book you a complimentary session if you need further assistance. They can also design a suitable program for you to help you reach your personal fitness goals, so don’t hesitate to ask.

Yes, our Southern River, Morley and Baldivis clubs all have lockers available free of charge to our members in the change rooms. They simply require a $1 coin to operate, but this will be refunded to you when you return the key after finishing your session.

Just see reception and we will help you locate whatever it is you are missing. Or if it’s outside of normal staff hours (9 am to 6 pm weekdays and 8.30am to 11.30am Saturday mornings), please fill out the Contact form on our website and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

We have replacement cards available for sale at reception for $30. Please note: all members must scan in using their own card each time they enter a Bailey fitness club (for more information regarding accessing our clubs, see the Terms and Conditions page on our website).

Yes, as well as being fully qualified, all Personal Trainers and creche staff at Bailey Fitness clubs hold a current First Aid Certificate, which includes the provision of basic emergency life support and CPR. So you can rest assured you and your family are in good hands, both in the creche and in the gym.

We understand that you might want to try before you buy, which is why we offer casual visits at just $18.50 per visit during staff hours. If you don’t think you’ll be attending the club regularly, however, a more cost-effective option might be our No Strings Attached membership, as this offers more flexibility than a normal membership.

Membership options start from as low as $11.95 per week. Because everyone has different needs and different fitness goals, we offer a range of tailored memberships including month-to-month for casual gym goers, 12-month memberships for those with longer-term goals and a range of family and kids memberships.

Free parking is available onsite for our members at all three of our locations. Or if you’re taking public transport, it’s just a short bus ride between;

  • Southern River gym and Huntingdale, Harrisdale, Champion Lakes, Camillo, Canning Vale and Seville Grove.
  • Morley gym and Embleton, Bedford, Dianella, Noranda, Beechboro, Kiara and Eden Hill.
  • Baldivis gym and Cooloongup, Warnbro, Hopeland, Port Kennedy and Leda.

Children between 8 weeks and 12 years of age are welcome to enjoy the creche facilities available at all 3 gyms while you focus on your workout (online bookings essential). Our creches offer a variety of activities including art, craft, construction, sensory, language and gross motor experiences and you can include unlimited crèche in your membership for just $5.50 a week.

Training

Finding the right Personal Trainer to help you on your fitness journey is easy. When you become a member, you’ll receive the Personal Training Blueprint; three 45-minute personal training sessions. If you click with your PT during this time, you can continue to work with them in ongoing personalised coaching sessions, or you can choose to work with any of our other Personal Trainers.

At Bailey Fitness, we take a holistic approach to health and fitness and at selected clubs, we make additional health services available to our members including naturopaths and masseurs. Our pro shop also sells a range of health-related items including gym apparel, boxing gear and supplements.

Bailey Fitness conducts a big range of group fitness classes at each of our gyms in Southern River, Morley and Baldivis. These include Bodycombat, Bodypump, Bodybalance, Bodyattack, Sprint, HIIT Step, Metafit, Shred 2.0, Yoga, Zumba, Konga and Pilates. You can find the latest timetables for each gym here.

When you apply for a Bailey Fitness gym membership, our Personal Trainers will assess your current health and fitness as part of your Personal Training Blueprint (3 x 45-minute sessions). Once we know the state of your health, we will help you work out which classes and training will be best for you. In the meantime, you can also take our How To Work Out Quiz to help you determine your own fitness goals.

Everyone is different and your results will depend on your metabolism and how much you work out. But as a general rule, you can expect to see some results, such as a decrease in body fat and increased strength and muscle tone, in as little as two to four weeks. However, it is usually in the third month onwards that you begin to see the big changes.

It’s never too late to start getting fit and just because you’ve never been to a gym doesn’t mean you can’t lose weight or build muscle. It just means you’ll need to start out a bit slower to give your body time to adjust. And our Personal Trainers can help by designing a program to help you ease your way back into fitness. Don’t panic, because all will be explained when you get there and newbies are always well looked after. If you want to prepare though, you can eat something an hour before (i.e. a banana or sandwich) as the carbs will give you energy during the workout. It’s also good to do some walking or stretching, just to get your muscles warmed up. And remember to bring the right gear (usually lightweight, breathable and loose fitting).

It depends how recently you gave birth. You should consult your doctor before beginning an exercise regime. A Bailey Fitness Professional Trainer can help design a suitable program for you, and once you’re back in the swing of things your little one can enjoy our creche facilities while you train (after they turn 8 weeks).
